Task: Structural Work at Dominion Vault: 9th Street North – N. Stuart St. to N. Stafford St. Phase Two Ballston Project
The WalkArlington program has undertaken a pilot project in the Ballston area of Arlington County to encourage more people to walk more often to get about the County. The project calls for the construction of a traffic nub at the intersection of North Stuart Street and 9th Street North that will calm vehicular traffic and considerably enhance the sidewalk area available to pedestrians in the vicinity for walking.

- Develop Formwork Shop Drawings as described in Specification Section 033000, paragraph 1.04D
- The length of the retaining wall is approximately 210' along with North and East section of the tennis courts as shown on Plan Sheet 7
- The shop drawing shall be prepared by or under the supervision of a qualified professional engineer
- The show drawings will contain detail the notes related to the fabrication, assembly, support and stripping of formwork
- Use the aluminum formwork from Western Forms
- Shoring and Reshoring is called for in the specification but that process applies to multi-story building slabs, not to vertical retaining walls
